On board a train in Hong Kong!
Or so we imagined. We had a fun Sunday morning at Around the World in 80 Days Book Workshop, which is proudly presented by ANDSOFORTH Jr., as we spent 75 minutes going on a train, a ship and even travelled to a a jungle in India, a theatre in London and a coal mine in Japan. How cool, right?
What we loved most were the interactive, kid-friendly activities, including letting the kids buy their own tickets, learning to tie knots, making an elephant puppet, writing secret messages by drawing and doing charcoal tracings. The kids also loved going through the secret doors that linked us from room to room and excitedly told me "Mama, this is more fun than we expected!"
The hubby and I appreciated how the facilitators did their best to interact with everyone, including the adults present, and there was never a dull moment. The setups and props were also done incredibly well and we could see how much effort went into making all of them.
Each session has a maximum capacity of 10 persons and we were reminded to have our masks on, sanitise our hands and keep a social distance. Yup, we felt very safe and at ease throughout as it didn't feel crowded at all.
